TV CEC Switch on LG Hospitality TVs

Note: These instructions are for out-of-the-box TV configurations. Any additional settings could interfere with optimal CEC switch performance.

For LG Hospitality TV’s CEC need to be enabled in the Installer Menu which can be accessed in the TV’s Commercial Mode Setup Guide.

For example, for models 43UW660H, 49UW660H, 55UW660H, 65UW660H:

To access the installer menu:

  1. Turn on the TV

  2. Use an Installer Remote to

    1. Press MENU SETTINGS repeatedly until the on-screen display of the TV setup menus (if the TV is in Pass-through Mode) or the Function Menu (if the TV is not in Pass-through Mode) no longer toggles

    2. Press the Installer Menu entry sequence (e.g. 9-8-7-6) + OK to access the installer menu.

041 SIMPLINK EN 0 / 1 0 Determines the status of the SIMPLINK feature. (See detailed descriptions.)

  1. Use the Up/Down arrow keys on the Installer Remote to navigate the available menu options, or access an item directly by keying in the item number and then pressing MENU SETTINGS. For example, to access the SIMPLINK EN option which is item 041, press 0-4-1+MENU SETTINGS>.

  2. After all required Installer Menu item settings have been adjusted, press OK once to save the changes; then press OK again to exit the Installer Menu. Any changes made are stored in non-volatile memory.
